Credit cards
International credit cards are accepted for payment in most hotels and restaurants.
On the other hand, the payment on spot of the registration fees will NOT be possible with a credit card.
You can employ your credit card to withdraw banknotes with majority of the automatic dispensers,
generally located outside the banking agencies or the post offices.
Currencies
The official currency is the euro. The participants can exchange the foreign currencies and the travellers’
cheques to their arrival (airports, railway stations) or in banks near the site of the congress.
Electricity
Electricity is supplied with 220 V, 50hz. Plugs are with the European standard.
Internet
Wifi wireless Internet access available in all rooms of the Novotel Hotel.
Insurances
The organisers of the EDF FAC2010 conference strongly recommend that participants arrange
their own insurance for health, travel and property prior departure from their country.
The EDF company will not accept any liability for personal injury or for loss of, or damage to, property.
Languages
The official language of EDF FAC conference is English.
Smokers
In agreement with the new French regulations, the buildings of Novotel Hotel are a non smoking area.
